ABA Prep provides therapy at home led by a BCBA across the county: from the neighborhoods around Columbia's villages to Ellicott City's historic streets and the growing communities in Elkridge and Fulton.
We deliver ABA in homes and community settings across Howard County. Every request is reviewed individually, so submit intake even if your community isn't listed below.
HCPSS is nationally recognized for special education programming. With written family consent, our BCBA may share home ABA strategies with the HCPSS team. Any participation in IEP or 504 meetings is discussed individually and depends on the family's request and clinician availability.
Most Howard County families start with ABA at home. Sessions are delivered one to one by an RBT, with BCBA supervision and parent coaching. Session length and frequency follow the individualized treatment plan, authorization, and staff availability. Community sessions expand into the places the family already spends time: the Columbia Mall play area, Centennial Park, or the lakes around Wilde Lake.
We often connect Howard County families with the Howard County Autism Society, the Howard County Infants and Toddlers Program, Linwood Center's autism programming, inclusive recreation through Howard County Rec & Parks, and the Miller Branch Library's events suited to sensory needs.

Every BCBA at ABA Prep is bilingual in English and Spanish, and about half of our RBTs speak Spanish. Intake, therapy sessions, BCBA supervision, and caregiver training can all happen in Spanish. Therapist matching depends on current availability, so note your language preference in the intake form and we will confirm what we can offer.
ABA Prep accepts Maryland Medicaid and participates in the networks of CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and CareFirst BlueChoice for eligible ABA services.
