PGCPS is the school district ranked second in size in Maryland. With your written consent, our BCBA may share home strategies with the PGCPS team. Any participation in IEP or 504 meetings is discussed individually and depends on your request and clinician availability.
Most families start with ABA at home in Prince George's. Sessions delivered by an RBT take place in the family's home with BCBA supervision. Session length and frequency follow the individualized treatment plan, authorization, and staff availability. As the child is ready, we generalize into the places the family already goes: a walk at Watkins Regional Park, an outing at the Bowie Town Center, or a visit to family in College Park.
We often connect Prince George's families with the Prince George's County Infants & Toddlers Program, CASA de Maryland (Hyattsville and Langley Park offices), Parents' Place of Maryland for IEP advocacy, and the Prince George's Memorial Library System's programs suited to sensory needs.

Every BCBA at ABA Prep is bilingual in English and Spanish, and about half of our RBTs speak Spanish. Intake, therapy sessions, BCBA supervision, and caregiver training can all happen in Spanish. Therapist matching depends on current availability, so note your language preference in the intake form and we will confirm what we can offer.
ABA Prep accepts Maryland Medicaid and participates in the networks of CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and CareFirst BlueChoice for eligible ABA services.
