Montgomery County is our home. ABA Prep serves families from Silver Spring and Takoma Park in the south, up through Rockville and Gaithersburg, out to Germantown, Clarksburg, Bethesda, and Potomac in the west, with one to one ABA therapy at home led by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
We travel across Montgomery County to deliver therapy where your child already lives and learns. If your community isn't listed, submit an intake anyway. We review every request individually.
MCPS is one of the largest school systems in the country. When a family asks and gives written consent, our BCBA may share home strategies with the school team. Whether that includes participating in an IEP or 504 meeting depends on the family's request, the school's process, and clinician availability, and it is discussed individually.
Every Montgomery County program starts with a BCBA assessment in the family's home, then continues with one to one RBT sessions and parent coaching on a schedule set by the individualized treatment plan, authorization, and staff availability. As progress builds, we generalize into the community: Metro rides, birthday parties, grocery stores, playgrounds.
Beyond ABA, we frequently connect families with Montgomery County's Infants & Toddlers Program (for children under 3), Parents' Place of Maryland for IEP advocacy, the Autism Society of America (headquartered in Silver Spring), CASA de Maryland for multilingual family services, and the county's inclusive recreation programs.

Every BCBA at ABA Prep is bilingual in English and Spanish, and about half of our RBTs speak Spanish. Intake, therapy sessions, BCBA supervision, and caregiver training can all happen in Spanish. Therapist matching depends on current availability, so note your language preference in the intake form and we will confirm what we can offer.
ABA Prep accepts Maryland Medicaid and participates in the networks of CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and CareFirst BlueChoice for eligible ABA services.
