Your child works one-on-one with a Registered Behavior Technician, under weekly supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Goals are pulled from your family's real life — the drop-off at daycare on Middlebrook Road, a birthday party at SoccerPlex, or a Sunday shopping trip at Milestone.
Nearly all Germantown families start with in-home sessions. Two to four hours, several days a week, in your living room and kitchen. As progress builds, we expand into community outings the family already does — SoccerPlex, the Germantown Library, or a walk at Seneca Creek State Park.
Germantown students attend MCPS elementaries like Lake Seneca, Waters Landing, Great Seneca Creek, Clopper Mill, Captain Daly, and Roberto Clemente; middle schools including Roberto Clemente and Kingsview; and Northwest, Seneca Valley, and Clarksburg high schools. With family consent, our BCBAs collaborate with school teams to align IEP or 504 goals with home ABA programming.
Beyond therapy, Germantown families often benefit from Montgomery County's Infants & Toddlers Program, adaptive programs at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center, Montgomery College Germantown's autism-friendly community events, and BlackRock Center for the Arts' sensory-friendly programming.
